Showcasing Innovation

Thanks to its 165+ exhibitors, the NEDS 2022 is primed to be a showcase of the Defence and Security Industry’s many strengths. We would like to pay some extra attention to one of those strengths, namely innovation. Equipment used by the armed forces, first responders, and coast guard is frequently required to function under extreme conditions. As a result, engineering and innovation have been driven to the limit to meet these demands.

This is evident in the innovative products and services our exhibitors are bringing to the NEDS 2022 and particularly so for the innovation square. Organized by the NIDV for the Ministry of Defence and located directly across from the MoD stand, it hosts 17 startups which stand out for their innovative products and services.

The NIDV has invited these startups to participate in the NEDS and organized their attendance, with the cost for their booths on the innovation square being shared between the NIDV and the Ministry of Defence. This way, the startups can freely participate in the NEDS and present their innovative products and services to both foreign and domestic industry leaders and decision-makers.

The participating startups are presenting some incredible solutions this year, so we urge anyone visiting the NEDS to stop by the innovation square and take a look at what’s on display.

Our mission is to close the skills gap by transforming human expert knowledge into digital inspectors to do the job.
